Position overview
Are you interested to extend global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in the world leading coating resins industry? The Business Development Manager is responsible for expansion into new markets and creating sale growth for allnex North America region. The initial primary focus is to investigate allnex's opportunity in EV batteries market in USA and develop sales or product development opportunities. In addition, this role will also assist business development in 3D printing by executing 3D printing growth strategy.
This role requires a high degree of self motivation, a passion for results and exceptional customer focus. The role will work with marketing, technical service and R&D to develop strategy and tactics to achieve growth in selected markets.

Responsibilities
For EV Batteries Market:
• Identify opportunities for allnex in this market.
• Work with Americas regional marketing and global EV battery team to develop growth strategy for EV batteries for North America region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while expanding the customer base.
• Develop yourself as subject matter expert in EV batteries in USA, allowing yourself the ability to educate prospects and customers on the value of our offerings.
• Collaborate with allnex internal resources in order to tailor unique solutions that meet the challenges and needs of customers.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities while adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Attend selective industry trade shows, innovation workshops, trade forums, etc. with a view to establishing new business contacts and adding to our potential customer database.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our digital preprint services.
For 3D Printing Market:
• Execute 3D printing strategy.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities while adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while expanding the customer base.
• Collaborate with allnex internal resources in order to tailor unique solutions that meet the challenges and needs of customers.
• Attend selective industry trade shows, innovation workshops, trade forums, etc. with a view to establishing new business contacts and adding to our potential customer database.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our digital preprint services.
Required skills and experience
• 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing.
• 2-3 years of recent experience in EV batteries market is a plus. Experience in 3D printing is a plus.
• Highly motivated individual. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to navigate allnex and customer organization to push project through.
• Availability to relocate to Alpharetta region is required.
• Ability to travel 30% - 50% of time.
• Fluent English is required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in chemical engineering or other engineering degrees is required.
