Description

Duties will include delivering and collecting food trays, taking patient orders electronically, organizing meal carts, pouring beverages, stocking inventory, collecting used trays, and maintaining a clean and clean environment.

Responsibilities

Food Tray Delivery and Pickup:Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up food trays to and from patient rooms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meal distribution.

Tablet-Based Order Taking:Utilize electronic tablets to take patient meal orders, ensuring clear communication and accurate recording of dietary preferences and restrictions.

Cart Management:Assist in the breakdown and organization of meal carts, ensuring they are adequately stocked and prepared for meal service.

Beverage Service:Pour and serve beverages, including juice, water, and other prescribed liquids, to patients in a hygienic and courteous manner.

Stocking and Inventory Control:Regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes, maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.

Tray Collection:Collect used trays and dishes from patient rooms promptly, following infection control and sanitation guidelines.

Dishwashing:Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Cleaning and Sanitization:Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
