    DESCRIPTION :
    The

    Programs Director ensures the programs of the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center (MWNFC) meet its mission and grow to serve the needs of families, children, and individuals throughout Safety Harbor, Oldsmar and Eastern Clearwater.

    The Programs Director is a member of the leadership team and provides direct support for program development including funding, outcomes, and internal and external reporting.

    They manage the daily operation of the Family Support team, providing case management, urgent assistance, and referrals to families in need, building capacity for education, employment, and financial literacy programs, among others.


    The Programs Director builds a supportive, stable environment for their own team and the families it serves. Full-time schedule is

    a flexible 40-hour week, to include some evenings and occasional weekends.

    RESPONSIBILITIES :
    1.

    Program Leadership
    a.

    Develop the programs of MWNFC to achieve its mission by supporting and stabilizing families, children, and individuals in need throughout our region
    b.

    Regularly assess and provide internal and external reports to demonstrate program impact
    c.

    Ensure programs comply with funding requirements
    d.

    Lead by example

    2.

    Family Assistance
    a.

    Supervise the Family Support team and ensure they assess and meet the needs of the families enrolled in programs and services offered by MWNFC
    b.

    Develop and manage to case management processes and procedures
    c.

    Maintain accurate physical and digital files
    d.

    Report activities as required by funder(s)
    e.

    Advocate strongly on behalf of families with both public and private agencies and providers

    3.

    Referrals
    a.

    Serve as the public face of the programs of MWNFC
    b.

    Establish warm referral partnerships with similar service organizations
    c.

    Develop relationships with providers, agencies, and resources throughout the region to align with the needs of families served
    d.

    Identify opportunities for community outreach and engagement of potential clients

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
    1.

    Three or more years experience in human services working directly with families, children, and individuals in need
    2.

    Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a related field
    3.

    Credential (or equivalent experience) in social work, behavioral and/or mental health strongly desired
    4.

    Preference given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English
    5.

    Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    6.

    Developing programs, program metrics and impact reports
    7.

    Familiarity with constituent relationship management (CRM) database
