    Selwyn Equity Partners is a Charlotte, NC based boutique private equity firm. We currently have an opening for a Dispatch & Customer Service Representative to provide services to several companies in our portfolio. These companies operate in the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Wate Services industries. Our firm has an unwavering commitment to excellence, and we demand seamless operations across these enterprises.

    Job Summary:

    We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-centric individual to fill the role of Dispatch & Customer Service Representative. The selected candidate will be based in our Charlotte, NC office from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

    As the primary point of contact for Field Technicians, you will interact with customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of their service requirements. Your core responsibilities will encompass managing call scheduling and overseeing the Dispatch Board.

    You'll deliver exceptional service, resolve customer concerns, and maintain workflow for our technicians.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage with customers to grasp their needs and offer suitable scheduling options
    • Coordinate appointments and monitor Technicians to optimize workflow
    • Employ dispatching software and other tools to track job statuses and schedule appointments
    • Prioritize incoming calls based on customer urgency
    • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally
    • Collaborate with internal teams including Technicians, Office Management, and Field Managers to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
    • Maintain accurate records of customer data, invoices, and general notes in our company database
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures
    • Perform general office tasks
    Requirements:
    • Preferred previous experience in customer service or a related field
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiarity with dispatching software (Service Titan software is preferred)
    • General computer proficiency
    • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
    • Detail-oriented with adept problem-solving skills
