This position is a full-time position supporting the Pharmacy Services Controlled Substance and Sterile Compounding Program at OhioHealth Berger Hospital.
For the Pharmacy Compliance portion of this role, the certified pharmacy technician will collaborate with local pharmacy leadership and the pharmacy team, as well as local clinical leaders and the system Pharmacy Compliance Team.
This individual will be responsible for daily controlled substance reports and discrepancy investigation/ review, supporting controlled substance auditing activities, providing general program support, and performing other operational duties as assigned.
In this role, the certified pharmacy technician will attend regular meetings with the Lead Pharmacy Compliance Technicians and the Drug Diversion Pharmacy Coordinator, as well as supporting and leading in meetings and discussions with local pharmacy and care site teams.
The position will be comprised of 50% Pharmacy Compliance and 50% Sterile Compounding support specialist responsibilities.
Successfully fulfills the criteria and experience profile for T2 Certified Pharmacy Technician, in addition to the responsibilities outlined in this job description.
