    The Opportunity:

    We are seeking a People and Culture Generalist , an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville

    This individual understands the importance of a culture starting with the heart and allowing those around them to show up as their best, most authentic selves. A strong sense of ethics and integrity, a passion for people, and desire for growth and learning will make this candidate successful.

    Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • The ability to treat all employees in a friendly and courteous manner the employees are our guests.
  • The ability to process confidential information without compromising the nature of the material or information.
  • The ability to process Workday transactions including but not limited to new hires, job requisitions, transfers, compensation changes and terminations.
  • The ability to answer telephone calls (keeping with Four Seasons standards), offering information, verifying present/past employment & handling personal calls for employees.
  • The ability to screen applicants, do reference checks, forward applications to Department Heads and Division Heads, mail form letters, process new hires, and complete new hire files.
  • The ability to process and route incoming and outgoing mail including all communication with Home Office.
  • The ability to trace all due dates for managers, including but not limited to reviews, Online Program checklists, and IDPs.
  • The ability to generate and distribute all monthly reports including but not limited to overdue performance reviews, birthday, anniversary, new hire, and termination lists.
  • The ability to maintain the cleanliness of the office, order supplies and process invoices.
  • The ability to update and maintain the hotel's Viva Engage page.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with recruitment and attend labor meeting
  • Assist with retention by managing the month stay day surveys.
  • Manage the Hotel's attestation process and process bi-annual audits in coordination with capgemini.
  • Support the Learning & Development manager with Ethics & Safety training and tracking.
  • Own special projects including but not limited to creation of manager welcome gift, Embark graduation gift and ECI for heart of house collateral.
  • The ability to support in coordinating all employees related functions including holiday party, children's party, theme days, picnic, etc.
  • The ability to possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office.
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • The ability to maintain complete files for all current and terminated employees.
  • The ability to ensure that the employee locker room is clean and orderly
  • Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR/Talent Acquisition/Employee Relations
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent communication
  • Exceptional organization and detail orientation, with an unmatched ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in a service-focused culture
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and use good judgment
  • Perform with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience with Workday (or equivalent HRIS) is helpful but not essential
  • Previous experience working in hotels or hospitality preferred.

    A soaring new landmark on the Nashville skyline, Four Seasons pays homage to the city's creative spirit. 40 stories high, with 235 keys (42 suites) and 143 residence units, the property is located in the upmarket neighborhood of SoBro where floor to ceiling windows provide unobstructed downtown panoramic views. The hotel will feature 25,330 sq ft of meeting space, Mimo Restaurant and Bar, a luxury spa, and an outdoor pool deck.
