As the construction and utility industry continues to transform, Dunwoody College of Technology is thrilled to invite applications for an Adjunct Instructor in our new and unique Power & Construction Engineering Technology program. This program is structured to meet the demands for the utility and construction industries. Focusing on utility design and the built environment, students will graduate prepared to be an engineer in the construction arena. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional eager to share their knowledge and inspire the next generation of engineers. The program is designed to align with ABET guidelines for Construction Engineering Technology and offers a comprehensive exploration for the design, estimating and project management of large scale electrical construction and electrical utility projects.
As our adjunct instructor, you will develop the coursework to guide students through hands-on, real world projects, enabling them to develop and execute practical solutions for various types of electrical design problems . Your expertise will lead students to understand the use of the latest in industry software for large-scale electrical systems. Additionally, you will help advance an understanding of controls and protection and gain a thorough understanding of low, medium, and high voltages while teaching them the latest skills needed for a dynamic industry.
