This position is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for:
Ensure robust supplier quality program
Support new product development
Optimize the processing of existing raw materials
Supplier Quality Management
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and manages raw material specifications
Creates and manages the supplier quality plan
Performs defect analysis
Acts as the supplier liaison
Manages supplier corrective actions
Evaluates supplier's quality management system
Material Quality Support
Works with operations to optimize processing
Create internal specifications as appropriate
Team Management
Works collaboratively with members of the Purchasing, R&D, and Operations departments to effectively define, communicate, and resolve material and processing problems.
Bachelor's degree in science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality, or related field
SAP or similar ERP working knowledge.
Minimum one year relevant work experience, in a manufacturing, operations, lab or quality role
Experience with ISO 9000 systems and TQM concepts.
Microsoft Office working proficiency; MS Excel and Word.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, inter-personal)
Valid driver license, auto insurance and travel documents

The current pay range for this position is between $75,000-$80,000.
Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience.
If hired, employment will be at will.The Company reserves the right to modify pay, as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program, at any time.
