Sony Electronics Inc.'s Professional Display Solutions (PDSA) division has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Account Manager - Spatial Reality Displays. This is an Outside Sales position ideal for an aggressive hunter.This role is focused on developing relationships with companies to drive sales within healthcare, entertainment, retail, higher education, and corporate customers.
Experiences with software solutions focusing on 3D, graphic design, and CAD will be preferred. This role will be the primary driver for sales in the market for our 3D Spatial Reality Display products.The Sr.
Account Manager will be responsible for aligning closely with key software companies, experiential design firms, integrators, and consultants to drive business and expand market share.
Additionally, you will be tasked to establish, develop, and execute strong business relationships with key decision makers at end users within the territory, with the objective to become a trusted advisor and valued technology partner.
This position will have consistent interface and engagement with Key Account, National Account and Distribution teams at PDSA. A strong understanding of the Unreal Engine and Unity platforms and ecosystems will be critical.Additional tasks to be performed include pipeline development, forecast execution, prospecting end users and new channel partnerships, and driving internal activities with the intent of providing excellent customer satisfaction and increasing sales.
The Sr.Account Manager will interface directly with solution providers, consultants, distributors, technology companies, and end user customers, as well as internal marketing, engineering, customer service and demand planning groups to meet goals and objectives.
The position will report to the National Sales Manager of Professional Display Solutions Sales.Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree is required or equivalent
Must have 5 to 7 years related experience in outside sales and/or business development
Prior experience with creating and executing major account penetration plans. Experience managing multiple reseller/integrator partners. Experience with digital signage and collaboration.
Must have a broad business background, strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrated creativity in overcoming sales barriers.
Must be able to make professional and compelling presentations; communicate effectively to large and small audiences; and have strong organization and time management skills
Experience and competency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Ability for Overnight travel is required
60% travel should be expected
Home office based within the territory
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to quickly understand and analyze sales data
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM tool
Consistent track record for exceeding company expectations.
Understanding of Unreal Engine and Unity
Experience with 3D modeling/CAD
Understanding of video card benchmarks
Understanding of how 3D technologies work (stereoscopic, volumetric, headsets, glasses, lensing)
