Job Description Your JobKoch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a contribution focused Accounting Manager to join the Leveraged Capabilities team within the Controller's Organization.

This role will be instrumental in advancing KES by focusing on our SG&A capability costs at a Global level, collaborating with our businesses and leaders to better understand, track (benchmark), and forecast our costs, and transform our SG&A management and reporting capabilities.

The successful candidate will be a change agent, championing transformation by defining what good looks like, challenging our current positions, developing solid partnerships with all levels of leadership to constantly improve transparency and reporting, and more fully applying Principle Based Management to ultimately help improve our business results.

This role will be located in our Wichita office.

What You Will DoActively engage with and develop strong relationships with the KES capability leaders, the controller organization, business leaders, and other stakeholders to better understand, anticipate, and optimize SG&A costsEvaluate and challenge the existing global capability cost structure, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate to implement solutionsPartner closely with KII capability leaders to understand and forecast all components of internal billingsOwn the recording and allocation of SG&A across the KES businessesContribute to the monthly forecasting and annual planning processes at a business and KES-wide levelDevelop informative and transparent reporting for leadership (business and capability) to support business decision making globallyDrive transformation by respectfully challenging historical practices and leveraging technology and automationPartner with internal KES/KII capabilities to develop in-depth data analytics and provide ad hoc information or reporting as needed to other capabilities and business partnersAdvance our Principle Based Management culture by applying and reinforcing Our Values and frameworksWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Progressive experience in Accounting or Finance focused roles that required a solid understanding of accounting processes, analysis, and financial reportingProven ability to effectively communicate and present financial results and concepts to various global audiencesAbility to form strategic partnerships, respectfully challenge the status quo and work strategically with various capabilities and levels of management to provide solutions and implement process improvementsExperience applying strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including originating ideas, collecting data, establishing facts, performing analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting a point of view to key stakeholders and business leadersExperience with data analytics tools (Power BI, dashboards, intermediate/advanced Excel, etc.) to gather data and build reportingWhat Will Put You Ahead5 or more years of a combination of experience in Accounting and Analyst rolesExperience using Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization toolsExperience in OneStream, Infor, or any large ERP systemsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
