    Position Overview:


    The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) KC-46 Tanker Program is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer to perform change integration functions for new and derivative products and provide technical support in Configuration Status Accounting tasks such as As-Built to As-Design reconciliation.

    This is a BDS position located in Everett, Washington, and reports to the PLM Manager of the KC-46 Configuration and Data Management team.


    The KC-46 is a high-visibility, leading-edge Commercial Derivative airplane program to support the United States Air Force and International Customers.

    As a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer, you will use Program Management Best Practices to oversee the definition and integration of configuration and data management tasks that span multiple engineering functions and airplane level engineering projects and processes as the KC-46 program transitions from Development into Production phases.


    Responsibilities:
    Leads activities to define, negotiate, document product and contract (both customers and suppliers) requirements.

    Defines, plans, coordinates, negotiates and reviews of Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements and deliverables.

    Leads the integration and maintains control of program data management process include release and storage of program documents.

    Manages document release process; manage deliveries of documents and data products


    Knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals.

    Participate in contract proposal development and preparation ensuring data requirements are documented and understood.


    Ensures consistent application of Configuration and Data management policies, processes and program management best practices, and those process documents are current and accurate.

    Understands and able to interpret contract requirements, especially, Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL); manage CDRL deliveries

    Serves as a subject mater expert (SME) in document and data markings and data rights

    Responsible to provide program data management performance and visibility metrics

    Leads and performs supplier data management ensure supplier data management requirements are met. Controls Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) template and Supplier Data Requirement List (SDRL) catalog.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.


    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong technical content.

    3+ years of experience with government programs.

    3+ years of experience with Contract Data Management and/or Supplier Data Management.

    Experience with Microsoft Office Applications; especially highly skillful with Excel as data process tool.

    Skill and ability to:
    collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.

    3+ years of experience with CDRLs and Data Item Descriptions (DID).


    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


    Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area.

    Highly knowledgeable and experienced with defense contract data management process and requirements

    Familiar with relational database language and tools such as SQL Server, and/or Excel Macro (VBA)

    Knowledgeable with defense aircraft contracts, products, processes, and tools.


    Typical Education/Experience:
    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).


    Relocation:
    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range $94,350 - $146,050
