Successful, growing, and values-driven e-commerce container solutions organization is seeking an experiencedDirector of Operations
to grow their North American market. This is a Charleston, SC based role with a strong in office presence along with national and international travel. This role will lead a small team and will be responsible for all aspects of the business. Offering a competitive salary, great benefits, and excellent people centric atmosphere.
Their focus is process improvement, customer service and business growth.
They are looking for a business development minded professional that can train, develop and manage a small group of CRSs, has logistics/supply chain knowledge, has managed a P&L, along with some experience with e-commerce or highly automated business model.
This leader needs to be relationship focused as they are building relationship with repeat commercial customers and exiting delivery partners.
They will be researching and selecting new delivery partners as they grow, discussing issues with existing partner and replacing underperforming partners as needed.
They will negotiate rates and delivery contracts for a win-win solution.They need someone with proven experience analyzing and utilizing data to creating process improvement plans and implementing those plans to increase customer satisfaction and revenue.
This role would require them to be in the Charleston office most days when they are not traveling to delivery partner locations.
They would assist with relocation to the Charleston, SC area if needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with MBA preferred5-10 years of experience in leading and developing teams, processes and business strategyStrong technology skillsE-commerce experienceStrong relationship building and negotiation skills
