    Job Summary


    The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities and ensuring efficient and effective production, supply chain management, and other key business operations within the organization.

    This role requires strong leadership skills, and exceptional organizational abilities.

    Major Responsibilites


    Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and initiatives in line with the company's overall objectives.

    Collaborate with executive management to set operational goals, budgets, and KPIs to drive business growth and profitability.

    Ensure the execution of strategic plans and initiatives, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.

    Production and Supply Chain Management:
    Define long-term plans for demand planning, supply chain design, and capacity planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with strategic goals and ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.

    Lead and manage strong

    supplier/purchasing

    team to optimize supply chain resilience and supplier relationships. Implement supplier performance management processes to monitor and improve supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.

    Lead and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient production of spice products while maintaining stringent quality control measures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing operations. Implement lean principles and technologies to streamline spice production, increase throughput, and meet customer demand efficiently.

    Develop and implement effective order fulfillment processes to meet customer requirements and deliver exceptional service. Optimize warehouse operations, facilities maintenance, transportation management, and logistics activities to ensure accurate and on-time product delivery. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fill rates, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

    Team Leadership and Development

    Collaborate seamlessly and establish effective working relationships with the Senior Leadership Team.

    Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure individual and team growth.

    Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement among team members.

    Develop and implement training programs to enhance operational skills and knowledge of employees across departments.

    Financial Management

    Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage operational budgets, forecasting expenses, and optimizing resource allocations.

    Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or productivity.

    Analyze operational performance metrics and provide regular reports to executive management, recommending actions to drive efficiency and profitability.

    Preferred Experience and Education

    Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain, business administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.

    Proven experience (at least 5 years) in an operations leadership role within the food, spice, or related industry.

    Strong knowledge of spice industry trends, operations, and best practices.

    Excellent leadership and management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

    Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

    Solid understanding of quality control procedures and certifications relevant to the food industry.

    Proficient in using various software applications, including ERP systems, MS Office, and data analytics tools.

    Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Results-driven mentality with a focus on excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
