    Description

    About the Position:

    CrowdStrike is currently seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in enhancing our global data monitoring and analysis platform.

    Responsibilities:

    We need a hands-on Engineer with strong technical skills and experience working with various open source projects commonly used in extensive deployments. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana. Moreover, they should have the expertise and insights on ensuring the stability of platforms capable of handling over 5 TRILLION data points daily in Kubernetes utilizing these tools.

    Requirements:

    • Prometheus
    • Thanos
    • Alertmanager
    • Python, Bash OR Golang
    • Experience in managing large-scale, critical Linux environments
    • Proficiency in operating on Amazon Web Services OR Google Cloud platforms
    • Experience in managing customized data centers
    • Capability to handle on-call duties effectively

    Additional Skills:

    • Proven ability to collaborate with both local and remote teams
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • A balance of confidence and autonomy, knowing when to seek assistance from team members
    • Extensive exposure to monitoring tools such as mimir or cortex
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields like CS, CIS or Engineering
