Wunderkind is seeking a highly experienced VP of Engineering to join our Product & Engineering Leadership Team.

Reporting directly to our SVP of Product & Engineering, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution to empower our platform's growth and innovation.

You will lead a dynamic team of engineers, overseeing the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions that redefine the marketing landscape.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep technical expertise, a passion for driving excellence, and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You know what success looks like, and how to measure that within a mature Engineering function.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with executive leadership to define the company's technical roadmap, aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Ensure optimal resource assignments on a daily and weekly basis to maximize the productivity and output of the engineering team.
Define and communicate a clear technical vision, driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with longterm goals.
Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize features, resolve technical challenges, and drive product innovation.
Champion agile methodologies and best practices, fostering a culture of agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals and KPIs for the engineering team, tracking performance and providing regular feedback to drive accountability and growth.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior engineering leadership roles, preferably in the marketing technology or SaaS industry.
Proven track record of leadership in software engineering, with deep expertise in building scalable, highperformance SaaS platforms.
Strong technical acumen and proven expertise in engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices, essential for guiding and collaborating with crossfunctional teams towards innovative technical solutions
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop engineering teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Passion for technology and innovation, with a curiosity to explore emerging trends and technologies in the marketing technology space and the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive innovation.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and transparency.
Strong focus on results and delivery, with a commitment to excellence and a drive to exceed customer expectations.
