    Description
    Job Type Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryDescriptionMaintains the Forest Highlands experience by keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass while removing garbage. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs.


    Essential Functions:


    Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingService, clean and supply restroomsCarry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning suppliesPerform laundry dutiesGather and empty trash then transport to disposal areasClean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, kitchens, offices, security and administrative areasClean and polish furniture and fixturesClean windows, glass partitions, baseboards, walls, window blinds, window sills, doors, door jams, kick plates, woodwork, and mirror using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, rags and squeegeesDust furniture, pictures, fixtures, machines and equipmentMix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specificationsFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixturesFollow safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixturesFollow safety procedures in using masks, goggles and glovesMove heavy furniture including tables, couches, chairs and other as neededLift, move or use equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 poundsNotify managers concerning the need for repairsRequisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenanceRefill all containers in restrooms and other public areasComplete other duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Managers RequirementsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Minimum Requirements:
    Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Six months or more related experienceValid Drivers License Language Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, vendors/suppliers, the general public and other employees of the Company.


    Mathematical Skills:
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals


    Judgment and Decision Making:
    Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

    Reasoning Ability:
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Physical Demands and Work Environment:
