- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- 3-5 years' work experience in related field.
- Knowledge of NYS mental hygiene agencies' regulations and certification procedures preferred.
- Complete and oversee necessary Corporate Compliance audits of all assigned programs and departments within St. Joseph's Treatment and Recovery Centers and Citizen Advocates.
- Assist Program Directors and Managers with plans of corrective action for external audits.
- Assist programs and departments with writing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Officer in the implementation of St. Joseph's Treatment and Recovery Centers corporate compliance plan.
- Works closely with any departments as needed or as requested.
- Assist Associate Director and Senior Director of Compliance by representing Compliance at meetings as needed.
- Prepare material for and participate in the quarterly compliance committee.
- Perform and oversee QA surveys to ensure programs meet the quality expectations of St. Joseph's Treatment and Recovery Centers and Citizen Advocates and all pertinent regulatory agencies.
- Assists in the collection, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators/quality in service delivery.
- Assist Program Directors, Associate Directors, and managers with plans of corrective action for all audits.
- Compile monthly summary of audit and survey findings/recommendations.
- Assist in the creation, revision, and updating of internal audit protocols under the direction of the Associate Director of Corporate Compliance and Quality Assurance.
- Adheres to and supports agency policy and procedures for incident management.
- Complete investigations of all allegations of abuse, neglect and significant reportable incidents in accordance with applicable regulations, including the Protection of Special Needs Act.
- Respond to requests from and facilitate investigations conducted by oversight agencies such as Justice Center, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), Office of Addiction services and Supports (OASAS) and Office of Mental Health (OMH).
- Prepare material for and participate in the monthly incident review committee.
- Compiles monthly, quarterly, and annual incident trend analysis studies.
- Maintain incident reporting database, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Ability to establish a functional working relationship and work productively with staff within the agency and outside entities.
- Serve as a liaison and coordinate investigative activities with investigators and law enforcement officers from various agencies
- Work with program and administrative group to ensure new or proposed programs are complying to all pertinent regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant issues, laws and regulations through websites, email list serves, training programs and peer contact.
- Attend and/or participate in relevant trainings, webinars, and conferences.

Remote Work Option: Yes
Position: Full-time Quality Assurance and Incident Management Specialist
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Range: $25.00/hour to $30.00/hour
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for development, implementation and daily operations of quality and compliance of agency-wide programs and services to include but not limited to quality of programs and compliance to all pertinent regulations.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Workweek schedule: Monday through Friday.
Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company need and workload. Employees will be given as much advance notice as possible when such changes occur.
Travel: Frequent travel required.
