    THE OPPORTUNITY
    As the Agile Delivery Manager, you will lead high-level planning and ensure effective delivery within Chipotle's Customer and Technology organization by employing and fostering Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders and teams to facilitate communication and collaboration. The Agile Delivery Manager will significantly impact Chipotle by improving Agile efficiency and employee and customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Manage the Agile Delivery process across multiple teams and departments by working closely with cross-functional leadership and teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration. The Agile Delivery Manager is a facilitator who ensures that dependencies are effectively communicated and coordinated. They will assist in identifying risks and work to mitigate issues that arise.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting effective communication, transparency, and accountability.
    • Manage department initiative and feature pipeline to ensure quality, readiness, and priority alignment.
    • Collaborate with department leaders to create and maintain the department roadmap.
    • The Agile Delivery Manager will work with leadership and teams to identify and manage department-level risks and issues that may arise in the delivery process. Facilitate mitigation strategies that ensure the pipeline of work stays on track.
    • Utilize and advocate Agile tool usage and accuracy to enhance pipeline visibility, work status, delivery performance metrics, and facilitate targeted improvements.
    • Partner with product and functional management, including cross-functional teams, to align initiative objectives and priorities.
    • Initiative Planning and Execution: Facilitate high-level initiative planning and timelines in conjunction with the delivery teams, product, and functional management. Use Agile tools and methodologies to manage workload, priority, and deliverables.
    • Relentless Improvement: Drive the adoption of Agile best practices, tools, and techniques within the department. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance department and team productivity, efficiency, and quality. Encourage a culture of learning, collaboration, empowerment, and innovation.
    • Delivery Performance Monitoring: Monitor department delivery performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to promote team and individual growth and development.
    • Stakeholder Reporting: Partner with the department leadership team to prepare and present metrics and key performance indicators to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Monitor and ensure department Capitalization and Operational Expense reporting accuracy.
    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience (5 years) as an Agile Delivery Manager or similar role, preferably in the software development or technology industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence).
    • Achieve outcomes through fostering robust collaborative partnerships with departmental leaders and teams while driving best practices and delivery.
    • Excel in an agile, dynamic, and rapidly evolving work setting with minimal formal structure.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
    • Strong understanding of software development practices and Agile management values and principles.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences ranging from leadership to teams.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
    • Agile, Coaching, and Product Management certifications are a plus. (e.g., Agile Certified Practitioner, SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), etc.).

    PAY TRANSPARENCY
    A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $129,000 - $173,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
