- Responsible for assembling, reviewing, tracking, closing, and final billing of work orders.
- Conducts research and analysis to resolve customer-billing issues and invoice discrepancies, proposing and implementing solutions as necessary.
- Oversees Work in Progress (WIP) and supervises the review, tracking, adjustment, and closure of work orders within designated areas.
- Analyzes data and trends, providing insights to Shop Supervisors and Service Managers regarding project statuses.
- Monitors budget performance, analyzing both direct and indirect costs, and furnishes decision-making tools to Managers.
- Provides guidance and training to Billing Coordinators, Billing Specialists, and Customer Service Representatives as required.
- Informs relevant Supervisors and branch personnel of work order statuses and offers problem-solving solutions.
- Addresses workflow and procedural issues within assigned areas.
- Supplies accurate information to warranty personnel for timely and precise claim submissions.
- Makes policy and warranty decisions for designated areas within established guidelines.
- Engages directly with customers to resolve Service Department concerns, problems, and issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to convey complex information and influence others.
- Capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting critical deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and communicate alternative plans when necessary.
- 3+ years experience as a Billing Coordinator or Billing Specialist, or equivalent experience
