    Are you an experienced tax professional seeking a leadership role in wealth management? Aspiriant is offering an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Tax Services team as a Tax Director, providing comprehensive tax advisory services to our ultra-high-net-worth clients in the Exclusive Family Office.

    The Tax Director will handle tax planning, advisory, and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of complex tax laws and planning strategies, along with excellent communication skills with clients and external professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients
    • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns
    • Develop tax strategies considering clients' financial goals
    • Stay updated on tax laws and communicate key information
    • Represent clients before tax authorities
    • Mentor junior tax professionals
    • Collaborate with clients and Wealth Managers for tax planning
    • Identify tax-related opportunities for clients
    • Participate in new business opportunities
    • Encourage firm initiatives and professional excellence

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting
    • CPA designation required
    • MBT is a plus
    • 7-10 years of tax experience in accounting or wealth management
    • Strong client service and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work extended hours when needed
