    Description

    We are a TPA firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago. We focus on the small to mid-size plan market. We are seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all aspects of plan administration.

    We offer a hybrid (one day in office), casual office environment with compensation and benefits commensurate

    with experience, as well as opportunity for growth. We are willing to consider fully remote candidates also.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Administration for and managing all aspects of an assigned book of business.
    • Requesting, coordinating and compiling census information.
    • Calculation of employer safe harbor, match and profit sharing contributions, including cross-tested

    contributions.

    • Performing all annual testing including ADP, ACP, coverage, non-discrimination, cross-testing and top-heavy.
    • Overall technical familiarity with plan rules.
    • Distribution and Loan Processing.
    • Consultation with Plan Sponsors regarding Plan related issues.
    • 5500, 8955, 5330 and 1099 preparation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience preparing DC administration, with at least QKA designation.
    • Experience with Datair software is preferred.
    • Experience with various investment companies/recordkeepers is a plus.
    • Ability to generate new business.
    • Applicants should have a strong desire to exceed client expectations and have an in-depth understanding of

    retirement plan rules and regulations.

    • Pension education and credentials valued and supported.
    • CPA designation is a plus.

    SALARY AND BENEFITS

    • Salary commensurate with experience. Expected range $75,000-$90,000 base compensation.
    • Yearly performance bonus.
