Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating enrollment support, registration/enrollment lab services, portal education sessions and programming for new students. Assists with coordination of enrollment days sessions.

Provides students information and registration support that includes all aspects of College procedures, programs and services that pertain to the enrollment process.

Responsible for maintaining knowledge of enrollment services processes to assist students with registration in courses pursuant to academic degrees and certificates.

Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accountable for attaining performance goals associated with new and continuing students. Supports adult education, CE students and Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment and enrollment support center services.

  • Create checklists of tasks for enrollment days (on and off campus), establishes timelines, and monitors work.
  • Plan and conduct weekly enrollment sessions and support training processes of enrollment lab.
  • Responsible for continually updating and monitoring information contained in the data bank for the College's Chat system (includes enabling Registration office questions, establishing criteria/ key words, linking, combining duplicate question, updating), as well as resolution of errors and missing questions.
  • Operate and monitor Enrollment Lab during registration peak and open lab periods.
  • Assist with training of student workers in Campus Central and support enrollment lab training processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to students and community members.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of federal financial aid and scholarships, College guidelines, policies and procedures and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Responsible for facilitating registration of students in courses according to student planning and the educational plan established by faculty advisor/counselor in accordance with Registration processes.
  • Assist students with the admission form, FAFSA setup and login, registration, financial assistance, payment arrangements and/or records functions.
  • Assist students on accessing information on the College website and through Student Planning Self-Service.
  • Understand testing and academic advising processes, as well as a basic understanding of other student affairs departments in order to serve as a campus resource for current and potential students.
  • Inform students, parents and general public of payment/payment plan structure and resources. Support students in completing the electronic payment options.
  • Provide suggestions to enhance the delivery of enrollment services information.
  • Document student interactions in Colleague as well as other technologies, as deemed necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years higher education or customer service experience required.
  • Evidence of commitment and sensitivity to students from different backgrounds required.
  • Experience
and proficient in Microsoft Products including Excel required.

  • Four (4) years of experience in a high volume service environment preferred.

Working Conditions:


  • PC, FAX, calculator, copier, laser printer, multiline telephone, video recorder, digital projector, scanner, administrative database and student selfservice system.

Hybrid Remote Eligible:


Part-Time Work Schedule:
Beginning July 1 through August 9, Monday & Tuesday, 1pm

  • 7pm and Wednesday & Thursday, 12:pm 6pm, may be weekend or hours outside of work hours to support enrollment events.**
    Beginning August 12, Monday through Thursday, 12pm 6pm and Friday 12pm 5pm, may be weekend or hours outside of work hours to support enrollment events.

Hiring Range:

Classified 9 Hourly/$23/hourly
