    POSITION PURPOSE

    The Project Manager role involves planning, directing, and coordinating all project activities from start to finish. Ensuring quality, controlling costs, and meeting deadlines to achieve maximum customer satisfaction are the key responsibilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Performing all duties and responsibilities in line with Sunland's Core Values.
    • Reviewing project estimates, proposals, and plans to manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and equipment needs.
    • Coordinating project requirements with teams, contractors, and authorities.
    • Advocating and enforcing safety measures.
    • Obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
    • Leading pre-construction meetings and collaborating with project stakeholders.
    • Establishing work plans and overseeing project progress.
    • Enforcing safety regulations and managing job sites.
    • Monitoring project finances and ensuring profitability.
    • Collaborating with the Estimating Team for project hand-off.
    • Participating in bid reviews and preparing project reports.
    • Providing technical advice and ensuring quality control.
    • Mentoring and developing team members.
    • Performing any other assigned duties.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    Safety

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • Operates at construction sites and office environments, handling various tasks.
    • Required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
    • May be exposed to chemicals, noise, and other hazards.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    • This is a full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work.

    Travel

    • Travel to job sites is mandatory, including overnight stays if necessary.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Work Experience

    • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or relevant experience.
    • Minimum four years in a related field with heavy construction experience.
    • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
    • Knowledge of project management, budgeting, and contract administration.
    • Fluency in English.

    Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Must have a valid driver's license and clear motor-vehicle record.
    • Passing drug/alcohol screening and background check is mandatory.
