    Description

    Project Manager Position at HSL Construction Services

    The Project Manager role at HSL Construction Services is all about being a strategic problem solver who can come up with smart solutions and execute them effectively across all levels of the organization and project. As the Project Manager, your main responsibilities include coordinating with superintendents, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, and overseeing that work progresses on schedule, within budget, and meets the specified quality standards. You'll be in charge of managing construction projects of various sizes, up to $60 million.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively support HSLCS's values.
    • Maintain positive relationships with Clients, Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
    • Manage the permitting & preconstruction process.
    • Establish goals for the team and ensure timely completion of work.
    • Develop realistic schedules and manage project budgets.
    • Review and administer subcontracts.
    • Ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
    • Coordinate on-site inspections and safety measures.
    • Provide detailed project updates and reports.
    • Adhere to safety regulations and enforce safety practices on-site.
    • Attend meetings with project stakeholders to ensure compliance.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Ability to prepare reports using management software.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Understanding of scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
    • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and local building codes.
    • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in construction industry.
    • Completion of OSHA 10 Hour class (required) and OSHA 30 Hour class (encouraged).

    Physical Demands:

    • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Ability to move around job sites and lift up to 30 pounds.

    Work Hours:

    • Full-time position with additional hours and weekends as needed.
    • Punctuality and accountability are crucial.
