    Seeking an Audit Readiness Senior Consultant

    • Support client organizations with Environmental and Disposal Liabilities (E&DL) audit readiness, remediation, and program support services to enhance audit readiness and sustainability.
    • Tasks may include:
      • Provide audit liaison support services.
      • Evaluate current business processes and internal control activities.
      • Apply audit principles to environmental and disposal liabilities.
      • Communicate environmental and disposal liabilities guidance to clients.
      • Contribute to deliverables and reporting.
      • Develop and maintain work products and documentation.
      • Apply expertise to complex assignments.
      • Lead relationships with clients and understand business operations.
      • Report status effectively to engagement team management.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
    • 4 years of federal financial management AND 2 years of federal accounting experience.
    • Master's degree in relevant fields or certifications: CPA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM, CISA.
    • Ability to take ownership and demonstrate initiative in work.
    • Professional services experience.
    • Journeyman level experience with relevant degree.
    • Conduct financial analyses.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with E&DL subject matter.
    • Understand DoD environmental cleanup programs.
    • Ability to travel for projects.
    • Knowledge of DoD financial management.
    • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and audit processes.
    • Experience with internal control testing and external audits.
