- Consults with Fortune 500 companies on compensation, job architecture, and leveling.
- Designs and implements comprehensive compensation programs including consideration of all elements such as base pay, short- and long-term incentives, sign-on bonuses, total compensation, and executive pay.
- Works with organizational leadership to create a compensation philosophy and determine factors most important for organizational success.
- Develops structure for job architecture using a variety of methodologies, including reviewing existing job information, conducting structured interviews and/or focus groups, administering surveys, and performing statistical analyses to identify job families.
- Identifies compensable factors for a variety of jobs and industries.
- Develops structured methods of data gathering, analysis, and interpretation to benchmark jobs of interests within given parameters (e.g., industry, region, market penetration)
- Develops protocols and SOPs for directing the work of consultants supporting work in this area.
- Provides formal presentations and reports to support recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Manages and develops new business including supporting sales calls, writing and costing project proposals, and contributing to marketing strategy.
- Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.
- Evaluates job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary.
- 8 years of experience providing external independent consulting on compensation and related areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- Strong computer skills in MS Suite (e.g., Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, 365, Teams) and compensation benchmarking software.
- Strong communication skills, relationship building skills, presentation skills, project management skills, and attention to details.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing tasks appropriately to meet short deadlines that may sometimes require extended work hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment as a member of a team and with significant autonomy, self-discipline, and organization skills.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant who specializes in Compensation Consulting to join our Employment & Litigation Support (ELS) Division The ELS division is staffed by I/O Psychologists and Labor Economists and is organized into practice areas related to Employee Selection and Assessment, Workforce and EEO Analytics, and Litigation Support. We partner with our clients to design state of the science employee selection systems, evaluate workforce systems and processes, and ensure applied research is considered in the context of applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
