●Curatorial Intern: Helped with research for two major museum exhibitions, One With Eternity: Yayoi Kusama in the Hirshhorn Collection and Feel the sun in your mouth, the Hirshhorn’s 2019 recent acquisitions show. Helped with writing wall text and found artist quotes.
●Gallery Guide: Conducted formal tours for museum visitors and informal conversations in Hirshhorn gallery spaces. Conducted research on objects in the vast Hirshhorn collection.
●Children’s Programming Volunteer: Helped with facilitation of programming for young children from infants to firstgraders, preparation of craft materials, researched best practices for children, and preparation of updated presentations fornew exhibits.
●Collections Management Volunteer: Filed and inputted image requests for publications. Conducted intake of publications and ensured that images matched the original request. Filed and labeled all image slides of the entire Hirshhorn collection, consisting of around 12,000 unique objects.
●Events Volunteer: Helped with administrative tasks at annual Hirshhorn ball, including setup, welcoming of guests/VIPs, decorating of tables. Helped to make the event run smoothly.
