    We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.comPURPOSEA unique role working across all facets of the business, the Operations Support's responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate processing of Ocean/Air export shipments, to meet both business and client specific KPI's and services.

    To act as the daily interface between TGF and the customer in delivering a seamless and professional service that meets and exceeds the customers' expectations.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEmails communications with individuals, foreign and domesticHandles day to day operations, for both Ocean/Air ExportsTracks and traces export ocean/air cargo from departure to arrivalCompletes data entry, status reports, and monitors shipment statusHas knowledge of TSA security processesHas knowledge of DG shipment handlingUpdates KPI/Data Compliance/invoicing, auto-rating requirementsMaintains Job ManagementMaintains job costing/billing/invoicingCoordinates bookings with carriers and service providers.

    Follows up with warehouse for on-hands, shipment processesCompletes data entry in Toll platform CW1 (Cargo wise) - experience recommended.

    Creates shipments in the CW1 PlatformFiles AESSubmits invoicingEngages with all Customers to fill their requirementsEnsures all processing is aligned within the company's internal KPI'sIn respect to financials:

    Maintains cost effective job processingProcesses Accounts Receivable as necessaryMaintains job profitability/job managementEnsures all processing is aligned within the company's internal KPI'sIn respect to health & safety:Records all accidents and incidents immediatelyActs promptly in reporting any emergency and environmental incidents situationsNotifies their manager immediately of any emergency situation or environmental incidentAlways takes seriously both their own safety and the safety of othersTakes an active role in identifying hazards and unsafe behaviors in the workplace by reporting any hazards and incidents quicklyTurns up fit for work and immediately reports any unsafe behaviorSuggests improvements that will give Toll a competitive advantage.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

    Ability to occasionally lift to 10 lbs. required.
    Ability to talk and hear required.
    Ability to perform repetitive motions required.
    Ability to occasionally move inside the office.
    Must be able to remain in a stationary position for x amount of time.
    Ability to move or position self to reach, lift, climb, balance, stoop, and crouch required.
    Ability to read PC screens; detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print required.
    JOB REQUIREMENTSEssential Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Minimum of two (5) year experience in logistics/freight forwarding industryPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree.
    DG certification
    • Knowledge.
    Cargo Wise / AS400 system.

    Microsoft Programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOBTechnicalKnowledge of Global forwarding operationsComputer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience dealing with customers, with a strong customer focus and service ethicMethodical, planned and organized with strong attention to detailGood time managementCargo-wise one system software experience preferred.
