    Mountain Workshop, based in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking motivated individuals to take part in our Fall Season of programs This Fall we will facilitate programming for over 5,000 students, faculty, and school administrators from private schools and public- school districts in the New York Metropolitan area. Our activities will focus on a variety of goals and objectives including:

    · Teamwork and Group Problem Solving

    · Communication/Listening Skills

    · Building Quality Relationships

    · Empathy and the Importance of Community

    · Improving School Climate

    · Leadership Skills

    · Understanding Civic Responsibility/Community Service

    This is an excellent opportunity for retired teachers, recent graduates, and/or 3rd-year Interns. Facilitators will work closely with other industry professionals while receiving competitive compensation.

    Employment Term:

    Mid-August to Late-October 2023

    Training:

    New hires will be trained to facilitate MW programs and gain invaluable opportunities for skill development in a positive school climate, youth leadership, SEL, adventure, and experiential education activities. This is an excellent opportunity for retired teachers, recent graduates, and/or 3rd-year Interns. Facilitators will work closely with other industry professionals while receiving industry-competitive compensation. This is a great opportunity for networking and resume-building

    Responsibilities:

    Lead the facilitation of adventure and experiential education programs ranging in length from 1-5 days. (There is a possibility of overnights but not mandatory)

    Candidate Requirements:

    Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or 3rd-Year Internship

    · Authorized to work in the US

    · Minimum 3 years of work experience in any field

    · Available for mandatory program training beginning mid-August

    · Available mid-August through late-October for program facilitation

    · Available Monday through Friday during the employment term

    · Acceptable criminal background and DMV check

    · Ability to work independently while closely supervising students

    · Must be comfortable working outdoors rain or shine

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Contract

    Pay: $ $200.00 per day

    COVID-19 considerations:

    • All facilitator candidates must be fully vaccinated before they start training.
