    Senior Network Engineer

OMS (Order Management System) is the industry standard for fully integrated, end-to-end perishables order management. A market-leading solution for two decades, OMS boasts a network of thousands of perishables buyers, suppliers, and transportation providers using its collaborative platform to drive profitability and eradicate cost and waste from their supply chain operations.

    In 2010, iTradeNetwork was acquired by Roper Technologies (NYS: ROP) and became part of Roper's Portfolio which includes over 20 companies. Roper Technologies was founded in 1981 and is a market-driven, diversified growth company and is a constituent of the S&P 500 and Fortune 1000.

    We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to manage our networks both on-premise and in the cloud. To ensure success in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.     Responsibilities

    • Maintaining computer networking Layers 2 through 7
    • Managing on-premise routing, switching, and firewalls
    • Managing cloud-based networking interconnects and security
    • Maintenance, configuring and installing software, routers, servers and other network devices including security patches and monitoring
    • Monitoring network performance for all systems
    • Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to customers, employees and management
    • Participating in an on-duty schedule with other team members to provide third-tier support and recommend corrective procedures
    • Resident subject matter expert on security and networking best practices

    Skills/Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years experience, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining a secure network infrastructure
    • Strong experience with routing and switching platforms and associated protocols (OSPF, BGP, VPN's)
    • Managing and maintaining a production environment
    • Experience with multi-vendor networks, including Cisco, Arista, and F5
    • Experience with cloud networking, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Experience with firewalls and security gateways

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
    • Must be able to travel quarterly to data centers
    • Must have unrestricted ability to work in the United States
