- Manages all day-to-day aspects of projects
- Meets project control financial standards by developing and meeting the budget: controlling project expense by categorizing and analyzing expenditures; comparing expenses to project budget; reviewing purchases; evaluating cost trends; recommending adjustments and corrections.
- Locates, selects and qualifies sub-contractors by developing and evaluating bids and performing buy outs.
- Manages sub-contractors; obtaining and maintaining sub-contractor documentation; coordinates between trades and ensures adherence to drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Is familiar with the project by analyzing and studying the construction documents and is able to guide the project operations in the right direction
- At least 10-20 years of experience in Project Management of commercial building construction with attention to detail and focus on quality
- A degree in building construction, construction management or related field
- OSHA 30 hour trained
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
