    Description

    Job Title: Designer III

    Location: Lansdale, PA Onsite

    Duration: Temporary contract on W2 (Potential to transition to Full Time)

    Job Summary:

    • Design printed circuit boards based on inputs from Electrical Engineers.
    • Import schematics, create library parts, layout and route circuit boards, and release drawings.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in ECAD applications, primarily designing RF printed circuit boards using PCB Design software.
    • Assimilate schematic, parts list, engineering concept, customer requirements, and other necessary data for design layout planning.
    • Complete design layouts to document engineering decisions and provide a basis for detailed drawings.
    • Collaborate on ECR/ECO generation/implementation, Bill of Material generation, and utilize data management tools.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Accredited GED
    • 2 years' relevant experience as a Designer
    • Eligibility under US export laws and potential security clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in a technical field
    • 4 years' experience as a Designer
    • Knowledge of IPC specifications for PCB design and manufacturability (IPC-2221)
    • Proficiency in ASME Y-14 Drawing and Dimensioning Standards, including GD&T
    • Experience with Altium and AutoCAD
    • Strong creative thinking, engineering principles, and manufacturing knowledge
    • Experience in the defense industry and active DOD clearance
