    Human Resources Coordinator at Great Wolf

    Great Wolf is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and nurturing our team members, who are our most valuable asset - our Pack.

    In this position, you'll work closely with HR leadership to ensure that our HR function drives success and aligns with Great Wolf Lodge's business objectives.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Warmly welcomes employees and efficiently handles their inquiries through various channels.
    • Facilitates seamless communication across departments to foster a positive and service-driven culture.
    • Manages front-line recruiting and onboarding activities under the guidance of HR management.
    • Collaborates with HR management to address Pack inquiries regarding benefits and other HR matters.
    • Listens to Pack concerns and ensures they are appropriately addressed by HR management.
    • Conducts effective training sessions for new Pack members and leaders, focusing on our unique culture.
    • Coordinates training programs for Pack members and ensures completion of online courses on Great Wolf University.
    • Handles day-to-day HR administrative tasks and reporting.
    • Participates in organizing team events and promotes a culture of recognition.
    • Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
    • Provides constructive feedback to support Pack members' development and engagement.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
    • Assesses and prioritizes staffing needs to meet business goals.
    • Manages job requisitions effectively based on operational needs.
    • Provides support for payroll, timekeeping, and HR data management.
    • Ensures proper maintenance of HR records and compliance with regulations.
    • Acts as the main contact for fulfilling and tracking Pack Member requests.
    • Maintains confidentiality of HR information to safeguard operations.

    Basic Qualifications & Skills

    • Minimum of 1 year of HR or related experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Successful completion of background check and drug screen.
    • Enthusiastic attitude and strong multitasking skills.

    Desired Qualifications & Traits

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
    • HR certification or relevant training.
    • Prior experience in the hotel/resort/theme park industry.
    • Experience with HR Technology.
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
    • Keen attention to detail.

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
    • Capable of bending, stretching, and twisting.
    • Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods.
