Description
Summary:
The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to weekly inventory inbound schedules.
A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing Sellout and AP1 forecasts by product at SKU level while managing optimal inventory levels to support eStore sales.
Responsibilities:
Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze large data sets related to inventory, inbound/outbound tracking, forecasts, demand analysis.
Ability to accurately document and record customer information via weekly consensus calls/meetings
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Top 3 Skill Sets:
Background and experience in SCM and knowledge of demand planning and operations
Advanced Excel and Communication Skills
Able to work OT hours as needed (possibly on weekends) - flexible schedule
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:
Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, SCM, Finance, or similar
2-3-year work experience in relevant field
Excellent Analytical, Communication and Computer Skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
SAP, NERP, Forecasting System experience helpful.
Excellent Communications skills (written, verbal)
Education Requirement:
Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, SCM or similar
Years of Experience:
2-3 years in relevant field
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
