    WHO we're looking for:
    We are looking for a Sr.

    Business Planning Analyst - DA who will be responsible for managing the forecasting, business planning, and business analysis functions for eCommerce's Digital Appliances (DA) product categories.

    You will be responsible for collaborating with the eCommerce Business, category management, supply chain management, finance, and the product marketing teams on a weekly basis to own and align on forecasting, supply, and business planning functions.

    You will also be responsible for analyzing performance and incremental value of various promotional activities to further guide forecasting and strategic choices to reach sales targets.


    Role and Responsibilities:


    Manage the forecasting of demand for the designated products sold through eCommerce to ensure attainment of revenue goals and optimization of in-stock and fulfillment rates.

    Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence the eCommerce demand on the supply chain and prioritize demand for order fulfillment based on business objectives and customer segmentation.

    Confer with fulfillment sales management, business management and Supply Chain Management on demand planning and forecasting assumptions and analysis.

    Measure key performance indicators to track and evaluate forecasts made, to assist in assessing the effectiveness of the demand planning & forecasting function.

    Make recommendations on products to feature in merchandise or promotion planning to proactively prevent aging inventory.

    Establish performance indicators of promotional activity as it relates to influencing incremental demand, including price elasticity analysis and sales uplift of other promotions besides traditional price discounts.

    Apply learnings from analysis to help achieve sales goals as defined by target plans and improve other performance metrics like profitability and return on investment.

    Build and maintain data cubes and Excel models to support analysis and provide insights to Category Managers to assist in their functions.

    Required Experience and Education:

    3-5 years' work experience in an analytical or eCommerce/retail related role required.
    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or similar analytical field required.
    Knowledge of direct-to-consumer eCommerce business processes, best practices, operational and analytical concerns, and trends preferred.
    Experience in demand forecasting and building robust Microsoft Excel-based tools, models, and reports preferred.


    Necessary Skills and Attributes:
    Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
    Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
    Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau required.
    Ability to navigate the organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities.
    Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to work under pressure and deadlines, including managing multiple projects.

    Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.


    Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines.

    May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
