    AV Technician / AV Support / A/V Technician / IT & AV Technician / Audio Visual Technician

    Widen The Net is a partner recruitment agency to Snap and we are hiring for their contract positions globally.

    Snap Inc are looking for an AV technician with enterprise AV experience and interest in IT to join their US AV engineering team:

    -Sole AV technician for NY site and support C level executives;

    -Set up and troubleshoot all AV technologies and video services including software and hardware in conference rooms and events spaces;

    -Troubleshoot and provide technical support for all VC technologies and communication platforms such as Google Meet, Fuze VOIP, Zoom, etc.;

    -Test all AV equipment such as Crestron, Biamp, etc.

    -Managing ticketing system (Jira);

    -Provide documentations, maintain system configuration and develop procedures for system updates;

    -Ad hocs IT support, work closely with NY IT technician team and provide general desktop support such as Mac OS, Google Workspace, network switches, storage, etc. (training will be provided)

    Requirements:

    -2 year+ experience working as AV technician or an IT support/service desk with experience in AV/VC support;

    -Must have experience with ticketing system/management such as Jira, Servicenow or similar;

    -Experience in enterprise and professional AV technologies such as Crestron, Biamp, Yamaha, Shure

    -Interest in learning general IT desktop and digital workspace technologies

    Initially 7-8 months contract till the end of 2024 (full time Monday to Friday), will extend yearly afterwards. W2 employer contract, offer $30 to $34.79 per hour depending on experience (plus paid federal public holidays in the US and contribution to medical insurance).
