- Completes and maintains current status on all provider enrollment packages required by government agencies for participation and billing in Medicare, Medi-Cal and Commercial insurance plans
- Completes all location enrollments as required including revalidation of government programs on their websites
- Keeps acquainted with all of the regulations and standards to ensure compliance with orders or directives issued by duly constituted government/regulatory agencies as they relate to provider enrollment requirements
- Prepares and updates reports on the status of provider enrollment packages and other reports as requested by management
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and webinars
- Attends meetings as required and will participate in committees as directed
- Assists the credentialing team as needed with special projects
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of experience in provider enrollment or credentialing experience required
- Must have medical background and be familiar with managed care and government payers
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
- Must be tech and software savvy; demonstrates ability to complete applications completely online and paperless
- Must be able to work independently
- Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office software
- Math ability to calculate and accurately analyze various accounts
- General office equipment to include PC and Software (Excel, Word, Office), phone, fax, etc.
- This position is temporary, full-time position (initial assignment anticipated to end August 2024; potential for extension)

Description
Position Summary:Completes all required provider enrollment forms for San Ysidro Health providers and locations with payers such as Medicare and Medi-Cal programs and all commercial carriers. Revalidates all records required by payers. Completes all enrollment forms necessary for 835 and 837 files as needed.
