- Develop Control System Functional Specifications tailored to project requirements.
- Conduct Control System Design and capacity analysis to optimize system performance.
- Create DCS Logic and Interface software applications adhering to customer/company specifications and industry standards.
- Execute Test Procedures and contribute to the development of Operations Manuals.
- Provide Remote Support and Troubleshooting of systems post-installation.
- Collaborate with the project team to manage scheduling, scope, and execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system(s) and MS Office Applications.
- Ability to interpret and analyze P&IDs and general process specifications.
- Familiarity with plant-wide and package control system architecture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal team members and external clients.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical writing ability.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas industrial sector terminology; familiarity with other sectors is advantageous.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Honeywell DCS-based control systems.
- Proficiency in Honeywell Visualization (HMI) configuration; familiarity with other controllers, HMIs, and programming languages is beneficial.
- Competence in Controller, I/O, communication module specification, configuration, and wiring.
- Ability to develop comprehensive documentation including Functional Specifications, Control Narrative, I/O List, Cause and Effect, Operations Manual, and Testing Procedure.
- Understanding of Network Architecture and Control Communication Protocols such as EthernetIP, Modbus, OPC/DA, OPC/UA, Profibus/net, CIP, DLR.
- Proficiency in specifying and configuring plant-specific instrumentation.
- Experience in Control System Design including Block Diagram, Panel Layout, Wiring Diagrams, DC Load List, Hazardous Area, etc.
- College Degree or Vocational Certificate in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in programming and supporting Honeywell DCS and related control systems.
