    Job Title: Senior JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer

    Job Description:


    The Adobe Firefly client team is looking for a senior JavaScript/TypeScript engineer to contribute to a significant effort in positioning Adobe as a leading provider of creativity tools. Our focus is on enabling the next wave of creators by translating creative ideas into successful outcomes. We are developing new AI/ML tools to foster self-expression and collaboration in the digital realm. In line with our strategic vision, we emphasize product-driven development to facilitate rapid iteration and continuously deliver tangible results. This initiative presents an exceptional opportunity to shape cutting-edge products that will impact millions of creators globally.


    Main Responsibilities:

    • Help establish architecture and coding practices for the Adobe Firefly client platform
    • Define long-term solutions for component-based architecture using functional programming
    • Collaborate closely with design and product teams to transform early concepts into interactive prototypes
    • Engage with customers to identify issues, test solutions, and enhance workflows
    • Stay updated on the latest development methodologies to expand your expertise

    Requirements for Success:

    • 7+ years of experience in developing interactive web applications, preferably in the creative tools sector
    • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or relevant field
    • Proven track record of building and deploying web applications using React
    • High proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+)
    • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
    • Familiarity with functional programming
    • Adept at writing high-performance and reliable code
    • Ability to excel in a remote work environment with strong communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
    • Familiarity with generative AI models and UX design
    • Knowledge of modern web technologies such as WASM, WebGPU, and security optimization
