    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The Academic Operations Program Coordinator (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv) will be responsible for the following:

    Course Management & Curriculum Support
    Maintain course time schedule data using a time schedule construction system for IAS undergraduate & graduate courses. Enter, verify, and update data to ensure that it is current and accurate.
    Support communication efforts with faculty and IAS leadership regarding course and curriculum information.
    Coordinate collection of syllabi for all IAS courses. Maintain electronic syllabi archive.
    Manage course fee approval process and support quarterly course fee assessments. Partner with the IAS operations and fiscal staff to support related purchasing and recordkeeping.
    Coordinate course evaluation process for IAS courses.
    Schedule and coordinate meetings with IAS faculty leaders and staff stakeholders to support scheduling processes and to facilitate feedback.
    Update and maintain internal curriculum documents and scheduling process documentation.
    Reserve classrooms and meeting spaces to support course-related projects and meetings outside of regular class hours.
    In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Academic Operations, serve as room coordinator for IAS courses, ensure reservation of special classrooms and correct entry into the Time Schedule System.
    Collaborate with other Schools and Units, including UW Bothell's First Year and Pre-Major Program, to ensure accurate course listings in the Time Schedule System.
    Manage and support Scheduling Team projects and initiatives as needed.

    Faculty Operations Support & Communication
    Maintain basic understanding of faculty teaching obligations and Academic Human Resources (AHR) policies related to course teaching. Based on this understanding, coordinate with AHR staff to ensure compliance with rules and policies, elevating questions and concerns as appropriate.
    Assist the Assistant Director of Academic Operations with coordination and communication between
    Academic Operations and IAS AHR staff to create and maintain accurate records of faculty teaching and course release information.
    Assist the Assistant Director of Academic Operations with coordination and communication between Academic Operations and First Year and Pre-Major Program(FYPP) staff to ensure accurate records of faculty teaching across multiple schools.
    Manage IAS's "Points" process. Track "points-eligible" activity as well as usage information. Ensure accuracy, completeness and accessibility of this data.

    Other Projects and Administrative Support
    Manage the reception desk that welcomes students and visitors to the IAS UW1-360 office. Staff the reception desk as needed.
    Purchase supplies to support IAS staff and UW1-360 office. Coordinate with operations/fiscal staff on course fee-related purchases as needed.
    Independently assess the need for and oversee the purchase of faculty office supplies and the supply needs of the UW1-390 office.
    Process undergraduate major declarations and support admissions processes.
    Provide administrative support for IAS Admissions Committee and support admissions-related student communications.
    Create and maintain documentation and data about course scheduling and enrollment information and processes.
    Manage shared email inbox focused on scheduling and curriculum communications.
    Assist faculty leadership with curriculum assessment efforts.
    Provide administrative support as needed.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience working in a College or University setting OR equivalent education/experience.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    Effective interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated by past success in a collaborative professional environment.
    Ability to form and maintain productive working relationships with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.
    Proficiency with MS Office/Office 365.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree.
    Experience and familiarity with working in a university setting.
    Experience with administrative procedures and practices in a high compliance environment.
