Description

Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base.

We seek a diligent and dedicated Desktop Support Technician who can help maintain a secure computing environment. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities:
Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop support issues
Responsible for 300+ Windows Professional endpoints
Deploy and maintain all endpoint hardware and software
Ensure all endpoints are current with Windows Updates and Security Applications
Manage inventory asset system
Manage printers, docking stations, & conference room connectivity
Set up new users with phones, desks, computers, & monitors

Requirements:
Three to five years of Desktop/End-user Support experience preferred
Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills in an Active Directory environment
Understanding of Windows Networking (DHCP, DNS)
Knowledge of Windows File Shares
Available to work a Friday through Wednesday schedule
MCDST/A+ certifications (preferred but not required)
