    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Powder River Industries is looking for a temporary office assistant who will provide support to the team. This is a 6 month role with up to 10 hours per week. A successful candidate will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office. The

    successful candidate will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from our bid and proposal operations, recruiting, and human resources functions. The successful candidate will have the ability to work diligently and help maintain smooth office operations, will be reliable, and hardworking with great communication skills.

    Requirements:

    · Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.

    · Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.

    · Serves as the receptionist for the office.

    · Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.

    · Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.

    · Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.

    · Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.

    · Manages calendars and schedules appointments.

    · Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    · Self-motivation

    · Specialty in Communication, Accounting, or Marketing. Other specialties may be deemed appropriate.
