    Description

    Position Summary:
    Provides strategic financial leadership while overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial planning and compliance.

    This key executive position is responsible for driving financial strategies, ensuring compliance and contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required, Master's degree.
    CPA required.
    Minimum of ten-plus-years progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    Extensive experience in financial leadership roles within the real estate industry.
    Proven track record of successfully implementing financial strategies and driving organizational growth.
    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and real estate finance.
    Proven track record of working across the organization to drive results.
    Experience implementing technology initiatives, including enterprise systems a plus.

    Essential Job Functions:
    Financial Management
    Oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
    Provide strategic direction for the organization's financial management, aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
    Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial innovation and optimize performance.
    Develop and maintain effective internal control polices and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
    Financial Analysis and Strategy
    Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
    Manage cash flow and prepare cash projections to executive leadership.
    Financial Reporting
    financial reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory and lending requirements.
