    Description

    Vaco Richmond is actively searching for a corporate staff accountant at a reputable and stable company in the Richmond area. Please reach out if you would like to hear more about this fantastic opportunity This role has a hybrid schedule.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Understand and adhere to accounting policies and processes
    • Analyze financial information and financial status
    • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Ensure compliance with US GAAP
    • Develop and document processes and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Assist with audits to ensure compliance
    • Special projects as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 1+ years of corporate accounting or public accounting
    • BS in Accounting/Finance
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
