    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team.

    The EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees involved in field service operations.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety management, with experience in the mechanical or industrial field preferably.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.

    Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of field service operations, equipment, and facilities to identify hazards and potential risks.

    Collaborate with management and field staff to address safety concerns and develop solutions to mitigate risks.

    Provide safety training and orientation to new employees and conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.

    Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

    Maintain safety records and documentation, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.

    Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and industry standards and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

    Serve as a resource and advisor to management and employees on safety-related matters.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field, or a combination of experience and education.

    Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar professional certification preferred.


    Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety management, preferably in the mechanical or industrial field service industry.

    Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

    Knowledge of Safety rules and regulations in multi-state preferred.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and safety management software.
