    About the Role:
    As the

    CAPEX and MRO Sourcing Manager,


    you will be directly responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the requirements of our capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and budgeting and establishing relationships with key external partners to bring solutions to the team.

    Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will handle the working relationships with our facilities to understand, execute, and source the right machinery from vetted suppliers, establish and maintain RFI's and RFP's for strategic initiatives, and help to execute legal contracts accordingly.

    Additionally, you will be tasked with establishing and optimizing our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) function. This role is critical to our core functional area of operational excellence.


    You Will:
    Seek, qualify, and establish working relationships with capital equipment & MRO suppliers.

    Establish relationships with key strategic & transactional supply partners.

    Work cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and facility leads to translate functional needs into sourcing objectives.

    Execute Strategic Sourcing Events (RFPs, RFQs & RFIs) for equipment & MRO.

    Develop & execute to MRO cost savings targets.

    Establish and maintain redundancy plans and risk mitigation strategies.

    Negotiate favorable contract agreements for CapEx and MRO materials & services.

    Own CapEx & MRO supplier relationship management.

    Monitor supplier performance and engage key stakeholders for input.

    Develop KPI metrics, regular reporting & communications for MRO contract adherence

    Communicate with Senior Leadership team members

    You Have:

    6-8 years of Strategic Sourcing work experience, supporting operations/manufacturing/ fulfillment functions.

    In depth experience with executing Sourcing Events in the CapEx & MRO categories

    Strong Business Acumen

    Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of leadership & the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions

    Understanding of operational flows within a facility.

    Expert knowledge of the MRO related categories and taxonomy. Must possess quantitative skills to analyze complex price quotes from vendors and evaluate them against business requirements.

    Working knowledge of sourcing, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles and methodologies

    Experience with MRO Spend management

    Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities

    Excellent negotiation skills and contract optimization skills

    BS/BA degree or equivalent years of Strategic Sourcing experience

    Experience in pharmaceutical environments is a plus, but not required.

    Up to 35% travel

    Conditions of Employment:


    This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs.

    These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.


    This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

    Physical exertion required.

    Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift.

    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.


    Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
