    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate daily invoice processing activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely recording of invoices and payments.
    • Review expense reports for adherence to reimbursement policy guidelines.
    • Reconcile vendor statements, researching and resolving discrepancies.
    • Establish vendor, employee, and payment terms in AP system.
    • Process and audit 1096 and 1099 Forms for IRS submission.
    • Reconcile petty cash and credit card statements, along with other financial data from plants.
    • Communicate with vendors and plants regarding past due invoices and related issues.
    • Collaborate with IT team on enhancements to in-house financial system.
    • Make recommendations for improving AP policies, processes, and procedures, and create guidelines for plant AP staff.
    • Prepare data for management reports.
    • Assist with special projects, analysis, and reporting as needed.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA in Accounting or Finance
    • 3+ years of direct Accounts Payable experience, including 3-way matching
    • Experience processing/auditing 1099 & 1096
    • Knowledge of Friedman/Frontier ERP software

    Duration: Temp to Hire

    Pay: $25-$30/hr

    Hybrid: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (Fridays – remote, with availability to come in on occasion)
