    Description

    Job Title: Data Center Network Engineer

    Location: Denver, CO

    Job Description:

    As a Data Center Network Engineer in Denver, CO, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing complex network configurations for regional and national data centers supporting a service provider network.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review architectural requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications.
    • Engineer, plan, and implement complex network configurations for data centers.
    • Communicate engineering solutions through detailed diagrams and Engineering Design Packages.
    • Develop network test, validation, and integration plans, ensuring network integrity.
    • Collaborate with vendors to test and drive new innovative features.

    Ideal candidates have:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering preferred.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space.
    • 3+ years of experience with data center networking.
    • Professional networking certifications like CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
    • Public cloud certifications in advanced networking or cloud network engineering.

    Successful candidates have extensive knowledge in:

    • Data center networking.
    • BGP, IS-IS, VRFs, and QoS.
    • MPLS, segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6).
    • Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilities.
    • Highly available network architectures and redundant configurations.
    • Software-defined networking and network configuration automation (Perl, Python, Bash).
