    Role Description:

    Arcadis is looking for a skilled Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Design and Engineering team. As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams focusing on industrial water and process projects, delivering high-quality designs and completed projects to our clients. Our current growth opportunities center around our Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization division, highlighting the need for a strong grasp of industrial water and wastewater practices.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Preparing design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans
    • Researching alternative design approaches and regulations
    • Collaborating with technical teams
    • Delegating tasks to junior engineers
    • Supporting environmental proposals
    • Conducting feasibility studies
    • Developing environmental data summaries
    • Coordinating subcontractor schedules
    • Conducting project-related research
    • Establishing strong relationships within project teams
    • 10-20% travel for piloting and client meetings

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant field
    • 7 years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience
    • EIT Certificate

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master of Science degree in Engineering or related field

    License:

    PE license

    Experience with:

    • Industrial wastewater and facility design
    • Strong communication skills
    • Treatability and pilot testing
    • AutoCAD, BIM 360, or Primavera software
