    Join Aramco Services Company as a Project Engineer - Mechanical Temporary in the Technical Services - Liquid to Chemicals (LTC) Office in Houston, TX!

    About the Job:

    We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with at least 15 years of proven expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically focusing on refinery projects and stationary equipment design. The chosen candidate will lead and supervise various aspects of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase and project execution for a major Refinery upgrade.

    Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership: Take the lead in the FEED phase of refinery projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project planning, design, and execution.
    • Stationary Equipment Design: Review design packages and oversee the stationary equipment needed for refinery operations.
    • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs adhere to industry codes and safety regulations.
    • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on refinery processes, review technical documents, and ensure compliance with international standards.
    • Cost Control and Budgeting: Develop cost-effective solutions for mechanical scope of work.
    • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to select suitable equipment for projects.
    • Mentoring and Development: Mentor junior mechanical engineers and enhance team expertise.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
    • Master's degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles in Oil & Gas industry.
    • Strong expertise in FEED phase and project execution.
    • Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
    • Proficient in engineering software and tools.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Understanding of rotating equipment principles and design considerations.
    • Proficiency in vibration analysis and reliability engineering.
    • Strong grasp of mechanical design principles.
